Discover the secret to studying while still being an amazing mom

More and more working mothers are finding their way to our school. That’s great news- women play an increasingly important role on the job market, and broadening their skillset is vital
But in most families, in addition to working, the woman also takes care of the household. How do you combine work, family life and studies? Here are some useful tips to help you achieve the desired results:
Choose the right study method
Are you after a group course or a home study? Both have their advantages, and you’ll get a diploma from both. Look at your schedule and choose the one that suits you most.
Group lessons are great if your responsibilities don’t let you focus while at home. On a set day each week, you’re dedicated to your education and focus on your career success.
A home study is more flexible and easier to fit into your schedule. You decide the pace you learn at, and don’t need to leave the house.

Talk to your partner
Divide and discuss chores, agree on who picks the kids up from school and who’s doing the shopping this week. Making a balanced schedule will give you the time to study while successfully managing your share of the household tasks.
You can also ask your partner to help you study, and even quiz you. That way, you’re including them in your activities, and you two can spend some bonus time together.
Tell your children
Explain to your kids why you’re occasionally nose deep in your books and what you’re striving for. Let them know that it’s important to you, and that sometimes mommy can’t be disturbed. A friend of mine agreed on a “sign” with her kids- a sign on the door that she would put up when she was studying. Afterwards, you can ask them to quiz you to keep them included, and then you can take a nice family trip as a reward for everyone.
Ask your boss for support
Are you taking the course to get even better at your current job? Ask your boss for some support. For example, they could give you more flexible shifts- some companies even agree to cover the cost of trainings related to your current job.
Get friends and family involved
You can ask your friends and family to take care of the kids every once in a while. Maybe grandma and grandpa want to spend time with the little one one night a week? Or a friend of yours that gets along with your children wants to pick them up from school sometimes?
Share with your friends, and tell them about your plans. This way, they’ll understand what you’re doing, and they might even offer advice!
It’s okay to spoil yourself
Forget the clichéd image of “the perfect housewife”. It’s all right to have a meal delivered every now and then. It saves you time, children see it as a special treat, and, as a bonus, you can opt for brain food to help you study. Win-win-win!
Make free time
Studying is much easier if you occasionally get some rest. The perfect excuse to spend time with your family! Play a game with the kids, go for a walk with the whole family and put on some music and have a family dance-off
Pausing helps you focus, increases productivity and reduces stress. Even if exams are nearing, finding a healthy balance is a proven way to succeed.
